TekTip: Tek-CARE^®500 Software Update

Tek-CARE^®500 vers. 1.3.0.462 for upgrading vers. 1.1.0.349 & above

In a continuing effort to address the issues brought to our attention by customer feedback, a software update has been released for the Tek-CARE®500 Wireless Emergency Call System. This revision allows greater flexibility in setting supervision times vs. timeouts, to maintain an optimum level of traffic and to reduce the frequency of ransmitters erroneously reporting as missing. The patch also improves database maintenance.

A script file is also now available to edit supervision timeouts universally, thus eliminating the need to change each device individually. To obtain this script file, the software update, or to inquire about updating a Tek-CARE^®500 system older than version 1.1.0.349, contact Technical Support at (800) 332-6608.
